good seeing u again Keep in touch;)
I do remember Grover playing the trumpet professionally in high school and also his love of motorcycles. I actually bought my first motorcycle from a friend of Grover's while I was working as a Seasonal Firefighter for CDF. I saw Grover once again while we were both going to American River Junior College and he's had a pretty bad motorcycle accident that he was lucky to have survived.
Mark was a great guy and served in the US Army in Vietnam, Special Forces I believe. He taught me to ride motorcycles, which I enjoyed for may years. Very creative, kind hearted and humble and not afriad of much of anything. Quite the energetic entreprenur. He is missed and I'm so sorry that he's gone. Cliff Grady
Bob served in the US Marine Corps and was proud of his service. I have some photos of his visit to DaNang and of us at China Beach. He'd reovered from a serious wound and was on light duty at the time when he visited. Russ Kidd who went in with Bob (he also visited DaNang while recovering from his wounds) on the "Buddy System" was wounded about the same time when their Marine Corp Battallion was overrun by two NVA battallions.and was one of nine survivors. Bob's uint was also overrun as I recall and pretty much decimated. I rememered hearing Hanoi Hanna on the radio saying she'd recieved a request song for Russ Kidd's unit Bravo 1-9, "No Place to Run, No Place to Hide." I dropped everything and ran to our hospital as I knew we'd be getting wounded coming in from the northern areas of South Vietnam. I am so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I am especially sorry for his family and for his close friend Russ Kidd. Rest in Peace Bob. Cliff Grady
I am so sorry to see that Ed passed. He always had a mischevious smile and was an excellent athlete. Ed was another person that I enjoyed in High School because I laughed a lot when with him. Rest in Peace Ed. Cliff Grady
Hi Melinda, I hope all is well with you and I hope I get to visit with you at the EHS 70 Birthday Dinner in October. Jeannette said that you two stay in touch,
John, I'm so glad we've stayed at least somewhat in touch since high school. We go clear back to the 2nd grade at Mission Avenue Elementary School and the infamous Mr. McNett (spelling?). Anyway, I will hopefully get to visit with you and Susie at the EHS 70 Birthday Dinner in October of this year as well as helping you both celebrate you 50th Wedding Anniversary in October. Take care old friend and give Susie a hug for me.

Hi Kathy, I so enjoyed out friendship in high school. You were the first friend I made at EHS that I hadn't previously known. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed our friendship and the laughs you made come so easily. You also had the most wonderful parents of anyone I knew. And, a very protective older brother...not sure he ever trusted that we were "just friends." Maybe it wasn't just me...maybe it was any teenage boys who came over to your house he didn't trust around his "little sister." I hope we get to visit at the 70 birthday dinner. Cliff
I remember some good times, some good laughs and good advice with and from Russ and with Bob Shelton while in high school I also remember visits with each of them while stationed in DaNang, Vietnam. Both Russ and Bob were lucky to have survived some horrible battles in Vietnam and I am so sorry to hear that Bob passed away. I wished Russ all the best in this life and Bob all the best in the great beyond.
